have called several times a day and even after i said i wasnt interested and i dont need any electricity as im now living in a shared house where my friend has the electricity bill in her name and not to call back they still keep calling repeatedly.

I just received a call from this number on my mobile. They call me once a week and often either hang up when I answer or advise they are from an energy company and then I hang up. This time I let him speak to get phone number details. He had a strong indian accent and said my name incorrectly. I said you have the wrong mobile number. He repeated my mobile no but left the 0 off the front - so he is calling from overseas through a Victorian ph number. I said it is the correct number but he had the wrong name. He said he was from my power company and because I had paid all my bills in Victoria on time and was not a big company I would get a 38% discount on my future bills and it is for all pensioners, small business and home owners. I knew it was a scam so instantly hung up. I have worked in fraud so I know what to look for.

Similar, an Indian accent man called on my mobile and he said after reading my house meter, bulabulabula. I asked where u are from and he tried to skip that question, later after my persistence, he said he is from people energy in South Australia. Well, is the area code of South Australia us 03? Anyway, I asked again how did he get my phone number, again he tried to skip the question. Then said in some online service but cannot name it. I guess when comes to these kind of phone calls, keep on asking them questions rather than answering their questions, then hung up. Or, out of some politeness, I told that they are upsetting me, then, hung up

"Can I have your License number or Medicare Number for Identification purposes" "No..." "Maam I will not ask you for any financial details we just need license or medicare number" "...No.... Wait, who is this?" (assumed at the start it was my electricity company, but realised they never gave a name" Ended up hanging up after repeated attempts to get my personal details.

Telemarketer trying to sell electricity. A bit thick as they've been told on several occasions that I've sold my house and haven't found another yet. They also seem to have trouble recognising when someone's not interested.

I got a call from the number stating I would receive a further 35% discount on my next electricity reading and that he would send a written information about it, started to confirm if my address was correct (which was not) and i was stupid enough to give my right home address and my D.O.B, until I got suspicious about who he was and Just told him I was not interested. Do not answer this number.

Start by saying its about my elctricity bill... >:( Then they say all Victorians are going to get an automatic 30% discount on their electricty bills from the begining of the next reading :) Then wanted to know my pension number, the size of my solar feed in system, and so forth. This is where I asked who she was and where she was from. The call is cleverly engineered to give you a roller coaster ride of emotions, to set you ready to talk without reservation. It's cunning and dangerous. They do not clearly identify who they are or the purpose of their call up front, but give some unverifyable BS when challenged. I told her I did not have the information she wanted at hand, and she was prepared to call back. I told her she need not bother. Unfortunately they can now assume I have both a pension and a solar feed in system, fortunately, the details of which I have kept to myself.

Caller identified himself as Neo Williams from Hot Pricing ID No ATI786 based in South Melbourne. Unable to find any info on Google search. Caller said he was advising me of discount rates to my electricity bills. He confirmed my name and address but would not send me written confirmation of discounts until I supplied my drivers license number which I explained I was unwilling to do over the phone. Neo kept talking over me so I told him that I intended to end the call and so said goodbye.

This company called me 4 times, in one afternoon, three of which were in less than 2 hours. They refused to tell me who they were or what they wanted. I called back after the last call as I missed it & still no wiser so I have told them to leave me alone or I will bring the police into it & charge them with harassment.

This number comes from Melbourne, I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Have missed calls from them on my mobile, was trying to dig some info on the internet before calling them back, but found nothing, no luck. People pls did someone answer this number, who is it? Probably some indian call centre :) ? Again ...?

I have just had a missed call from this number with no message. I believe they may be linked to a new Electricity company marketing call as I have blocked a very similar number yesterday after 6 phone calls and answering and telling them I was not interested.
