Trying to get me to switch my home phone, new what phone & internet provider i was with..... they are a pain in the you know what... have been calling me for a bout the last week 3 to 4 times a day on my mobile.... I have asked them to take me off their list but call back from a different number..... always starting with 8644 but different last 4 digits... I am now blocking each number as it comes in...hopefully they'll stop ringing....they're from overseas because you get that 4 to second delay at the beginning when you answer.

calling pretending to be NBN offering a free upgrade. They had half of my details correct. Tried to get my license number or medicare card no so they could identify me when they delivered the modem upgrade. I refused, they hassled and argued!

I had two calls from this number last night, I screen calls so didn't answer. I called the number back today from a silent phone and it went straight to a gentleman's voice saying "Thanks for your call, we won't keep you waiting too long" I immediately hung up. This recording didn't advise the organisation name, I am thinking this is a scam.

Calling me at 815pm at night and it leaving a message. I have tried calling them back in evening and day and phone rings out. They continue to call me 3x a day. I block the number and a new similar number will start calling. It is absolute abuse and have no idea where they got my number from.

This Melbourne number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with Telstra, but more likely just some call centre working for them... No idea who was really behind this number, just a silent call for me.
