Up to 3 phone calls per day from this phone number only for something to be said quickly and followed by a beep as if leasing to voicemail. Have blocked the number. Googled it to see where it was from and found it under an electricity company, I am not named on any property electricity bill as a payer so unsure how or why I am being contacted.

Man phoned my daughter on her mobile from an electricity company. She explained that she doesn't actually pay the bills and he just hung up. Obviously not trained in customer service.

It's simply energy calling to sign you up. When asked how they've got my number, said it's from a consumer database. Wasn't aware about this data collection.
