We are overseas and get calls from this number and other seemingly associated 03 numbers in the middle of the night. I called beck after the first to assess its origin, and was given a message to the effect that the called was unavailable. I have now set the privacy settings on my phone not to accept calls from unknown numbers when we are asleep, and now block all unknown 03 numbers. However, I can do this only after a call has been attempted, and a different 03 number phones me the following night. But privacy settings prevent these calls from disturbing us, and I then simply block the number the following morning.

Called 3 times in the space of 1 hour and 20 minutes. Answered the third call, was completely silent on the other end and they hung up. When you try to dial this number back, it says "the user that you are trying to reach is unavailable" and comes up call barred. It appears to be an international contact centre routing through an Australian dummy landline. These three calls followed 3 calls from another number - 0383307935 - who also left 3 missed calls in a 2 hour period. This second number is also listed as a spam call. I don't receive these calls often on my mobile, so having 2 numbers each call three times within 4 hours would lead me to believe that they are linked. When you try calling this number back, it has a strange dial tone, and says that they are "Modern Group" and is about roofing etc. I've never had anything to do with anything roofing related.

Phone call received on mobile from person with foreign accent, possibly Indian, stating account was going to be reduced with more Gbs on Internet & cheaper long distance phone calls. Told him I was at work so he rang back after five, when I asked if he was from Telstra he said something incomprehensible so I asked again and asked for yes or no answer and he hung up. 8 pm and I get another phone call from the same number. Object strongly as I have listed both mobile landline on the 'do not call register'.

Answered my mobile phone after a second call today. The male (foreign accent) person new my first name and new that I was with Telstra for my home landline. The person said he had all my details. Said that my next phone bill will be reduced and I do not have to do anything. Long story short... I had to agree over the phone that I would accept their offer. But nothing was really clear to me about who it was (sounded like "Tele Band Australia"???), or exactly what they were offering other than a cheaper phone bill?? I became suspicious when I was asked how much I was paying, as mentioned earlier, he said he had my details. This made no sense. I said I would not agree to anything over the phone and would be happy to look at any offer in writing. With this the person hung up on me.

there was an indian bloke trying to convince me to change my phone over to telebyte, i dont pay any line rental or GST, and its only $39.95. He couldnt even call me by my first name it was by my last name. When i said i only pay a set amount and your not saving me anything he got very irate about it and started to argue the point, he has now called 3 times and i have blocked his number on my mobile. DONT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS.

they sent me five phone calls in 4 hours. I rang them to say stop phoning me and told him i was going to report him. He got very aggressive stating mam if i stop the phone calls you cannot report me. He carried on and then said he would tell his mates to stop phoning only after i said i wouldn't report them. He then said happy christmas and new year but didn't ask which phone number i was asking to be not phoned. I had rung from our private landline regarding my mobile number duh!

Seems to be some call center, I can see more similar numbers (all the same range - 0386835xxx, just last 2 or 3 digits different) reported here already. No idea who is behind it, they left no message, no VM. I really don't answer unknown numbers, tried to dig some info about this number first on internet, but no luck so far. People did someone answer it?
