Scammers from South-east Asia (Scam call) reported by Melbourne

These scammers from South-east Asia called numerous time on my business landline. Automated message says internet will soon be disconnected and to press 1 for tech support. I pressed 1 each time. Instance 1 - Spoke to a mumbling **** who just disconnected after 10 seconds while talking. Instance 2 - Jennifer said Telstra is going to disconnect my internet. Then proceeded with the standard tech support troubleshooting, 'check the modem lights', etc... then gradually work into seeking more personal and sensitive information. When I asked her the how she feels about scamming people, she hung up.

So rang me twice claiming our internet will be cut off in 24hrs because of national broadband network in the area we already have NBN going by the comments it's not just some. Net scam

Anglo saxon name, Indian accent, advising his company would be in our area tomorrow to fit new LED globes. I have already, today, before the phone call, had an Indian at my door who could barely speak English, offering to change all my light globes to LED. Advised the little chap I was not interested.

Light globes (Telemarketer) reported by Net

Said they wanted to replace the light globes they fitted, but they didn’t fit them, a local chap did. I don’t need new ones. My daughter booked them in thinking they were legit. Boo. They won’t be pleased when I tell them I don’t want them. But hey? I tried to call them back to tell them myself but the number doesn’t connect to anyone.

Indian guy calling himself 'sam Williams' asking to speak to the business owner regarding a website/ advertising. he did not want to speak to anyone else or tell me where he was calling from started to get aggressive when i wouldn't give out any personal information!

I was constantly called. Told them I wasn't interested. If it was a sexual situation the way the were forcing themselves onto me would be considered rape. No means No. But No to these spammers means keep going, get nasty and harass even further.
