Same as above, some sort of crime journal scaming people out of their money. They actually sent me a copy of the magazine i was in apparently after i refused to pay. Then they demanded payment so i rang a few other of the advertisers in the shi**y mag and guess what?! 2 of the 6 i spoke to lost their minds because they realised they had been scammed and the other 4 had no idea they were in any such magazine/journal - one even said he hadnt operated under that business name for years!. I wish it was easier to report these things to the ACCC because i have about 10 different companies calling me trying the same thing.. ****

Wanting me to pay for an add they placed in The crime & preve (Scam call) reported by


They wanted me to pay for the add they published in The Crime & prevention mag. I asked to see the add and they told me once I have paid I can view it. I never gave permission for this add yet they have sent me a print out of a "Yes" reply to there SMS, saying I gave the go ahead. Now they have sent me a demand letter and will take me to court if I dont pay. I am not paying and will continue to hang up if they call. They call from 0390130801 -

I received a call saying that we were getting a discount on supporting a crime prevention magazine. I said thanks, hung up. They then sent an invoice with "as discussed with Craig" I called them back, asked who authorised it and to send me a link to previous publications. Hung up and no response. Total scammers who have now made me suspicious of even legitimate charities.
