Asian lady asking to speak to owner telling me our landline is overdue and need to pay it - we are with telstra and are NOT overdue on any of our services ... called her out on her lies and she hung up !! has called my store at least 5 times this week and random times morning -night SCAMMMMMMMMMM!!!!

They rang asking if I was the home owner (first asking for my husband) I asked who they were. When she mentioned getting a discount for solar panels I asked her to remove my number from the list and not to call again. She didn't stop at that and kept badgering me and asking why I wouldn't be interested in a discount... It was only when I asked what company she was from so I could put in a complaint she ended the call.

I received a call just then from an Asian man. The caller kept trying to get me to confirm my name, to which I kept replying 'who's calling!'. They had an old address of mine, then asked if I lived in Victoria, and said he's authorised to give discounts of up to 40℅ to people who live in Victoria. I don't even live at the address he said to me anymore, and what's more, I NEVER had the electricity connected in my name there. VERY SUS

Received a call from this number asking me if I am (said my full name), after which i replied 'yes'. The lady on the line said that she is calling regarding my electricity bill and asked if the electricity bill is in my name which I answered 'yes' again. She then hung up on me. When I tried ringing them back the line just cuts out. I reported them to: https://www.scamwatch.gov.au
