I switched energy suppliers & before I even received the 'welcome pack' (20min) Jason called offering to 'check I'm getting the best deal'! Wanted to know my bill details... Told him I haven't received a bill yet & he said good bye...

Indian lady on the line, knew my name and asked if I had received some energy letter about some changes in the billing/offer. I told her I don't pay electricity, she hung up.

They knew my name and claim they help you to check if your energy and gas provide offers you a right rate, and ask how they send you. It seems so normal at first, they asked me my address and DPI/ MRIN, after that they persuade you to change a provider and offer you cheapest price. I said I don’t want to change anything atm, they kept on pushing you, so annoying!!!!

Picked up initial call - noone spoke (17 sec call). Caller immediately called back with same number (03 9068 3437) and didn't speak again - appears to be computer generated call as there was pretty much no delay/instantaneous call back after initial call. When tried to call number back, I received an automated message advising that 'the mobile service you have called is switched off. Please try again later'. Have since blocked number.

They said there was an emergency with my electricity bill and payment. I said i was surprised by it as i have a direct debit for 5 years. They then asked which supplieri was with. I laughed saying that as they clearly didn't know who i was with that they are obviously trying to scam me. They hung up straight away. Nuisance call!
