Unsolicited Call - Male Indian Person (Telemarketer) reported by


This was an UNSOLICITED call to my Wife`s Mobile. He said he was from Public Power and knew my Wife`s name. My Wife first answered then she handed me her phone. We constantly receive SCAM calls, usually to our home phone, even though we have an unlisted number. To me the nature of the spiel had all the hallmarks of a scam. I hung up on him. The number was listed on my Wife`s phone so I did a search of the number. My Wife immediately tried to call the number back but it was un-contactable (How Convenient for them) I personally believe it was a SCAM Call.

I answered but did not speak with a human. There were funny robo-like noises at the background. I got another call from a similarly looking number the following day. I didn't answer it.

"Hiya" service advised this number to be "Potential Fraud" (Telemarketer) reported by


My Hiya service application installed on my Android phone advised the number to be "Potential Fraud" thus i let it ring and see if voicemail is left from the caller. No message was left, which means that the "Hiya" application was probably right. So I blocked it

Scum bag smelly curry muncher from in India tried to offer us 'better' electricity rates. Took him a few moments before noticing I answered the call. What a vile creep.
