delay, then international call connection tone. Lady with an Indian accent. Mrs my surname, I calling about your electricity. You're probably already with one of our suppliers Origin or AGL. Seemed like a scam to me, didn't let it go any further, said sorry I've got to go bye, then disconnected the call. If you can I would block the number.

I don't understand why the Australian Communications Media Authority doesn't prosecute these fools, given they that receive thousands of complaints and the perpetrators use a number of different numbers. Isn't that what ACMA is funded to do?

I get calls at strange hours, often late at night. No idea who it is, they never answer. Why bother calling?? Every time I block the number the calls start again a few days later with a slightly different number.
