energychoice scam (Scam call) reported by TEd

I phoned them back after a missed call and an Indian sounding fellow answered and said that they were a company called 'energy choice' which I did an internet search of and could not find. He passed me onto the 'expert' which took a while but an Indian sounding fellow with a better command of English took over who told me that we were being recorded... to which I told him that I was recording also - he said that was okay and then based on what I told the earlier fellow about the electricity company I thought I belonged to, which I then replied I was unsure of my energy provider but that he knowing already what a good customer I was always paying on time would know my energy provider, as I could not remember if it was energyaustralia or essential energy to which he promptly hung up. I believe they were after my address, utility, etc. so beware - I do not believe this phone number belongs to a telemarketer but is a scam trying to extract personal information!
