Expired antivirus (Robocall) reported by Janelle

Told me my antivirus was going to expire and that $240 was going to be debited to my bank account. Left a number to ring back on. Not likely

I had the exact same thing. My antivirus expires in April, so I knew it is a scam.

Ask me to call 1300907721 for subscription?? but no idea (Fax machine) reported by Beth

Answering machine asked me to call 130090771. But no idea. I dont know if I call them. because it said that they will debit some money from my account next year. I dont know if I should call back or not.

Tried to get me to install teamviewer, no doubt to control my PC (Scam call) reported by Frederick Dagalli

I called back on the number indicated, 1300907721. Spoke to a man with an Indian accent. He told me that my AVG antivirus subscription had ran out and I would be charged $240 to renew unless I cancelled.I told him to cancel ( knowing that I don't have an AVG subscription). He then tried to guide me into installing 'teamviewer' on my laptop. There is only one reason why someone would do that, which is to gain control of my laptop, certainly for no-good purposes. I hung up on him.

Anti Virus Scammer (Scam call) reported by Bill

Robodial from 03 9095 7618, claims to be from "Your Anti Virus Software Provider" advising your subscription has expired and that they intend to charge $249 for a new subscription unless you call to discuss with them immediately. They leave a number of 1300907721 to call back to dispute or discuss. This robodial was captured on my voicemail.
