I’m with Simply Energy now, I get 45% discount where Alinta could not match. I must pay my bill on time with 45%. I could have 40% and not need to pay my bill on time with either energy company. Kleenheet are another like this. They’re all doing it - but I have used this new competition to my own advantage, so that my gas bills are now almost half of what they were. So I’m not fussed when they ring. Same with Dodo - I get cheapest phone/internet deals around. Just do your homework with any of these and push them to offer you the best deals of what’s around and the calls will not bother you. If you say “not interested” or just refuse the calls (I do this too with a lot of telemarketing that I’M not interested in), I’d say that’s an easy enough way to get them over with or avoid them. Although looks like this marketing is here to stay, so buckle-up! SOME phones already offer automatic blocking (many get through this) or automatic “scam” comes up for unknown numbers. Hopefully phones will be able to screen these businesses better in future.

Silent Call. I've had calls from telemarketing trying to tell me of a energy discount before, so I am assuming this Robocall might be related to that.

Returned the call and it went to Simply Energy automated service. I am not with this company and never have been.

I returned the call and went to Simply Energy voicemail. I don't know how they got my number and why they are calling me as I am on the Do Not Call register. If they call again and I answer, I will ask for the person's details and will report the company.
