YouCompares Scam - claims to save you 20% on your bills (Scam call) reported by Peter
https://www.scamnet.wa.gov.au/scamnet/Scam_types-Unexpected_money-Upfront_payment__advanced_fee_frauds-You_compares.htm This number is used by a scam operation called "You Compares". The gist of it is they claim to save you money on your bills. You send them a bill - any bill. They pay the bill, and encourage you to talk to your utility company, who will confirm there's nothing owing. They'll then tell you to pay them 80% of the bill amount. They then reverse what they paid your utility company. You're then out the 80% you paid them, in addition to having to pay your utility company 100% + dishonour/reversal fees + late fees.
