Answered, said 'hello' only ... there was nothing on the other end. They hung up after around 30 secs. I tried ringing it back (I've been watching Scammer Payback channel on YouTube - highly recommend - & I've really wanted to scambait these useless bottom feeders, string them along & waste their time for a bit). But the number just comes as constantly busy - no doubt its some kind of robobot number on occasions, where its constantly dialling numbers. My guess on this occasion the bot is dialling to test whether the number is alive & kicking... & I answered, ****.

Female voice recording said my account (I think Amazon but can't remember) was going to be debited some money (can't remember how much) and then gave options to choose: 1 if I agreed, 2 to speak to someone or 0 to hear options again. I pressed 0 to hear them again and listened to them then pressed 0 again and a person answered. I said Oh, I pressed 0 to hear options again and I got you. They then hung up.

I disconnected the call. He immediately rang back using a mobile phone. Told me his name wasn't Harry, it was Jack. I disconnected and then blocked both numbers. A third mobile phone number tried to call, and I blocked that one too.

some middle eastern male trying to tell me my internet line had been hacked. lot of background noise, very unsure of what he was saying. said he could see someone trying to access my internet line while i was using it. I told him he was a scammer because I wasnt on the internet, i was at 6 hours from home, and besides i didnt have an internet line.

Alternate internet source confirmed my what I suspected was correct - scam caller apparently trying to get details of recent transactions. Call your bank direct. Never answer authorising questions from cold callers.
