One hour "Roy Morgan" survey (Survey) reported by Paul

A very lengthy "Roy Morgan" survey designed to lull you into a false sense of security asking for benign political views before they ask for Date of Birth and home address. AVOID at ALL COSTS!

I've done some research (easy to do) and discovered that this number is owned by RoyMorgan.com.au. They seek surveys on things like political views, purchasing history etc. My interview took about an hour and, it was followed up with another voluntary online interview (at my request). The second online interview took about 90 minutes and I gained a $10.00 gift card for my trouble.

Fake Roy Morgan Research survey (Scam call) reported by Janey

The call took 40 minutes to complete and started off with basic questions such as political views, voting intentions etc. Many questions had to be answered 0-3 then later 0- 9 (getting me to speak each number)He asked for my birthdate, which I declined then he asked for my year of birth. He asked for make, model and age of my car. He asked general questions about banks then drilled down to savings accounts and how many I had then how much money was in each account ?????? Various other questions about insurance, super and household income and lastly asked for my address. He then thanked me for taking part and invited me to take part in an online survey and would I like to receive the link via phone or email. As he already had my phone number I asked for it to be sent via SMS. This morning I rang Scamwatch and made a report. I didn't give him any personal information but he has my phone number and a lengthy voice recording so I will need to be careful over the next couple of months. Please be careful.

they left 1 message after ringing 3 times. they allege it’s for “an important national survey”. i’ve had to block the number as they keep calling every evening. this behaviour should not be allowed.
