I have a recorded phone call with this guy clearly a scammer gets aggressive and needs to learn how to scan properly to younger age. Possible to see how it might work to the elderly be careful.

Selling electricity offer and rude (Telemarketer) reported by


A man asked me by my name, trying to sell electricity offer. When I declined saying my husband’s in charge of the bills, the man demanded me to put my husband on the phone. When I politely declined saying that he won’t be interested (and he really won’t be, he will just hang up on you mate), the man goes “Of course he will be interested. How do you know he’s not interested. Do you read his mind?” ????????‍♀️ Does he think he’s my marriage counsellor or what. His supervisor really need to train the employees better.

When these electricity people call, i tell them that I “own” an electricity company and therefore dont need any assistance in that regard. The phone goes very silent as they dont have a script for that answer!! Then they just hang up. The other good one is to pretend that the line is “scratchy” and you cant hear them property - insert “put on the acting in a big way”, they soon get sick of this and hung up. Lastly, another good one is to tell them you have to grab another call, put them on “hold”, put your phone on speaker, continue what you are doing / working on in the background and they soon get bored of that game also !!!
