Very hard to understand, strong accent, trying to sell light bulbs or something and saying that we had received a sample order..... we hung up, told them not interested.

If you're here it's because they've called you. You can register your phone number to be on the "do not call list". It wont stop them all, but it definately helps. https://www.donotcall.gov.au/consumers/register-your-numbers/ I feel deeply for the unaware/elderly who fall victim to these calls. If they do call, keep them on the phone for as long as possible; have fun with it.

They have phoned here more than 5 times. Each time they have been told that we are not interested and we are on the Do Not Call register. Today was the last straw when they rang and didn't speak but laughed into the phone and hung up.

Keep getting calls from this number regarding replacement of lights in my house. When I asked her to provide details of the company she was calling from and their phone number so I could verify (she sounded Indian) she told me that she is in Springvale and they do not have a number for me to call. She asked me if I was crazy? I then called Victorian Energy Efficiency Target Scheme 1300 721 335 and got an Australian sounding girl who told me that the call was probablty legite and I should give her the benefit of the doubt. I advised this young lady that unfortunately there is so much fruad these days and I am not willing to give out any information unless I have full details of who this person is. My question is "Why is the Victorian Government using overseas operators to contact Australian residents?" why can't they give the job to a local and keep our people employed? At least then it would seem more fair dinkum.!!

I had same call from the same number today - said they were from VICTORIAN ENERGY EFFICIENCY SCHEME. We actually agreed to have them replace our light bulbs a few years ago which they did and all went ok though the bulbs seemed poor quality - curly things. It ll sounds dodgy so I said no this time.

**** called about Victorian Government Initiative but could not tell me WHAT initiative - demanded to speak to his supervisor who admitted it was Solar Panels, I demanded to know why when I have DO NOT CALL REGISTered phone and he said because we had light globes replaced (which is crap because only reason light globes were replaced was because they were next door not because of any phone call) - These people phone regularly with a different company every time (this time GO SOLAR) and always with the same story about light globes - bunch of liars as phone number disconnected according to Optus.
