Pre recorded number pretending to be my bank (Scam call) reported by Henri

Was a pre recorded voice telling me about a transaction from my bank saying there was an amount spent (I didn’t spend it) that was suspicious to them (pretending to be my bank). They asked me to press 1 if I did this transaction or 2 if I didn’t make this transaction and they would pass it on to their investigations department. Also told me that they would cut access to my bank account if I didn’t respond. In three days I have been contacted by them 6 times, but before today it came through as a private number. Today it came from this number. I spoke to my bank yesterday and they confirmed my account was fine and it was a scam call to try and access my personal details. This is a total scam!

Recorded voice, with several good recorded responses to my questions, making it sound good except for the delay in the response as the correct response was selected. Just trying to get you to repeat YES, NO or MAYBE for future scam activity against you. . . .Best advise is Just Hang Up

Very good pre recorded questions and answers. (Robocall) reported by Patty

Sounded like a very professional woman (Aussie accent). Very long pauses after I spoke and her responses we perfectly repeated (tone and word perfect) if I asked her to repeat the question, pretended that my phone cut out or asked an 'out of left field question. When I questioned if it was a robot she had what seemed a perfect reply after a long pause also. Asks for postcode, state, suburb, street and house number. I said I was not comfortable giving my details and she asked me to confirm my full name to her which she had just read out to me...This is when I pretended my phone cut out and waited silently until she ended the call.

Just had the exact same thing. Called herself Lisa Collins, long delays in answering my questions, and when off topic had no answer so repeated original question. . . . Very dangerous to maintain any length of conversation with her . . .Just hang up.

A charity called trying to be nice just to get people's money. I find it to be so rude, annoying. I told them not to call back but if course they will. Bloody scammers.
