95% sure it was Amnesty International (Non-profit Organization) reported by Lindy
I'm a subscriber to Amnesty International. They are always lovely on the phone and ring about every 4 months to 'check in' that all is running smoothly with my subscription etc. The reason I was suspicious this time was because I saw the same number, 03 9965 3xx3, on my phone log several times over a couple of days, which was uncharacteristic. I stupidly hadn't added it to my contacts as I usually do so didn't recognise it butI answered because it was a call from the state I live in and I thought it might've been a business call. The girl who rang was lovely and was probably legit - but you just never know so I thought I'd better report it. I hope I haven't wasted your time. Also - thanks for this great site.
