an apparent 'Mark Rogers' called me claiming he was from telstra and that my internet would be cut off for 3 months. then when i asked for his address to visit Telstra personally he told me to 'f$@k off'. Not impressed.

This number should be a landline from Melbourne - I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet resources, which should be a good sign... Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck. On the other hand I am not the only one searching for this number as can be seen from different pages... Does anyone know who might be calling?

Just got the same call, glad I didn't answer it. I have heard that numbers like these are been made from outside Australia, but the caller is behaving as if in Australia. The last one I hade like this, the caller tried to sell me insurance, I was quick to hang up once I got the gist of what was going on.
