Asked to speak with me by my first name, then checked my address - it was my old one. I asked where they got details, they said I did a comparison a few years ago with their website (I didn't). They were offering comparisons of electricity prices due the recent increase in prices. I asked to be removed from database.

the fact that they new my name and wanted to talk about my energy bill had me suspicious. then he wanted to go into my details. asking about my d.o.b and what bank I was with pushed it right over the edge. Please be careful. It screamed scam to me and I hanged up. have now blocked this number from my phone

They knew my nickname in Facebook where my number is private (Unsolicited call) reported by


I finally decided to answer the call after ignoring it several times in the last few weeks. The man on the other side wanted to talk about my energy bill. I don't have a contract with any energy company! He also called me by my name as shown on Facebook (nickname). Coincidence? I don't think so. My number is set as private on Facebook. I'm deleting it now. I'd advise you all do too.
