Telemarketer after Credit Card and personal ID (Scam call) reported by


Uses some dodgy Electricity Bill scam, proceeds to verify your name, address, DOB and personal ID. No electricity company needs to do this, your existing providers have your details on record - and would ask less 'scammy' questions to verify you over the phone - i.e. your customer number, and date of joining. New providers would ask you to register online via a website with a digital certificate. Best thing to do is to waste their time - provide them with fake credentials. Give a false date of birth and address. If this is a scam company that acts as a middle-man for other customers who buy stolen identities and credit card info, give them false info. Watch as their real customers pay money for useless info, and crack back at these marketers.

Many missed calls. Called the number back to receive a voice message saying number is not valid or registered. Answered the next call to be told they are calling about my land-line and internet connection on which I do not have. Told them to pi.. off and not call again. They called 2 more times.
