Asbestos Demand (Scam call) reported by Home owner

Joel advised my address was listed as Asbestos laden residence scheduled for demolition as directed by local council. Said if I paid $25000 it could be taken off the register and he would remove the asbestos and if I paid an extra $2500 he would issue an asbestos free certificate against my addeess and register it with council. I rang my local council who said this was a scam and that others had already rang them about money demands made by Quality Asbestos Removal. Thet were advising other councils to be aware of this scam
