Spear phishing (Scam call) reported by Peter
Warning! Phishing scam. Answered the phone and you could hear the click as it went though to an agent. She says "Hello, is this Peter?" I said yes (it's my name). She said she was from Health Insurance Comparison and wanted to compare my Bupa health cover. I said I don't have Bupa health cover. She asked if I was Peter (gave my full name) and said I must've been on their website comparing health insurance. I said no I haven't. She said maybe you partner has, to which I said no. Then she said, well since you're here, would you like to compare your health insurance? I said, no, that's okay and she just hung up. Spear phishing scam. She had my name and number (tried to guess my health insurer since Bupa is one of the biggest) and then would've asked my DOB and other details about me to build up a profile. Possibly even going to give me a really cheap health insurance quote and get me to pay by credit card. Avoid.
