Fake advertising scam (Scam call) reported by Vanessa
They called saying I had an advertising contract that was due for payment. I was in the middle of doing invoices for our business and they caught me off guard. I gave them the credit card number for payment. After I finished the invoice I was on I checked emails and could find nothing from them. Checked bank account and no money had come out. Rang the bank to cancel the card, while I was on hold with the bank I saw the money come out. Card is cancelled, have to wait for the funds to clear so we can dispute the transaction. Lesson learnt the hard way.

They scam you into believing you ordered advertising with them (Scam call) reported by Small Business Owner
they scam you into believing you ordered advertising with them including sending you a fake advertising magazine with your fake ad stapled into the middle of the magazine along with a fake invoice stating that you owe them (in our case $510) and then call you over and over trying to make you pay. Down the bottom of the fake invoice it is marked as 'this is not a bill you are not required to pay any money' to cover their own legal claims if you do get tricketd into paying. the advertising of other suppliers i searched for on the same page if you try to look them up to call them doesnt come up with the proper detials from the ad to the search - so i was unable to even call any of the proper businesses to ask them about the distribution or them actually advertising in such a magazine, the page has clearly been unstapled and re-stapled into an existing magazine (you can tell by page numbers, staple ****, alignment, paper texture, etc) and the advertising is either not your standard advertising, or has spelling mistakes or errors from being poorly copied from other real advertising you may have placed in other newspapers or magazines.
