Scam call reported by A worried friend

My friend applied for an administrative job online off a widely used job advertising website that sounded promising with no experience required and free training included. A text from this number invited her to an interview today which she attended along with 8 others. There were more people waiting for interviews after. She described it as intense and that the man who led it left her feeling uncomfortable. The interview turned out not to be for the advertised job but to join the agency that will get her that job or one like it. The location quite a bit out of the CBD in an industrial area with a concerningly rundown appearance. A text later in the day congratulated her and asked her to return the next day with a 250 dollar registration admin and workbook fee which was 'refundable'. No paperwork has been signed nor any actual jobs discussed or named, the day only information provided by text from this number. No information on the company 'a1u-skill' mentioned in the text could be found online and a search on the contact number bought up news of the scam. The text was signed 'Louie' and the similarities between previous scams alarmingly obvious. Suffice to say no money has been exchanged and the offer to join the company rejected however I am concerned for all the other people who have attended these interviews and wanted the story out here to warn off other concerned people.

Scam call reported by Blue fish

The phone is an employment scam call/message. It is under an employment agency so called "Capital U-Skills'. The person behind is Lou Petrovski who is a rogue recruiter exploiting job seekers at their most vulnerable. Promising work, for an upfront free. A promise he is happy to break. See youtube.

This guy Lou Petrovski is still doing the same thing today, 17 of us went to an office in Plenty Road Preston, gave all of us a professional like sales pitch that we were all going for a hotel reception job in a 5 star hotel and one of us would get a call, i got a txt on Sunday saying congratulations and all i had to do was turn up at Preston again with $250.00 registration fee, alarm bells went off, looked up his number and it brought me here. He also uses phone number 0418996895 and 0401038089. A Current Affairs has exposed him and apparently ASIC is trying to find him.
