This is a total scam - they want you to think they are some NBN associated company, so they use the vague term "Network Advisory Centre"

They said I may be eligible for a government incentive to set me up for the future. Asked me name, age, value of house, income, occupation, savings etc. They said I would get a call back if I qualify but can’t find anything on the internet about them, so probably shouldn’t have given them info. Will be asking more questions if they call back.

Called and said they were looking to see if I qualify for a Government Rebate. Pushed for personal information. Lost interest when I did not "qualify" by not paying off my own home.

They call themselves the Advisory Network (I cannot find any aussie web presence). Some ABNs exist but hard to determine if any of those apply ( https://abr.business.gov.au/Search/ResultsActive?SearchText=advisory%20network ) Rachel said they are not selling anything (yet to be convinced) and promise a call back with information if I qualify for a government incentive. I was asked some questions about employment status, income tax bracket, net worth and if I am in a mortgage or renting. I answered very sparsely and gave only a first name. They promised a call back if I qualify from a senior advisor. I have a financial planner and said as much and that I would give no further details to anyone I had not met inperson and been able to cross check in some way. I will update here when/if I get a call back. I suspect a scam of some sort, diverting tax into some investment and out of my superannuation. Not interested really.

Cold call advising their organisation can assist in obtaining Gov (Financial services) reported by Peter
The caller advised they worked for Information Australia. They wanted to know your net worth and your interest in tax minimization and wealth creation.....I gave them some info. Caller did not want to deter from their script. Advised will call back. Will keep all posted.
