Purported to be from Telstra re faulty home internet service. (Scam call) reported by


Wanted access to my PC. When challenged, had employee number and Telstra Technical Dept numbers at hand. Said I would receive an SMS verifying integrity of caller. I happened to call Telstra earlier in the day over another matter and everything had been checked out then. They said all systems were working fine. The caller on thi number was Indian sounding, had excellent command of English and was thoroughly convincing when questioned.
