Claimed new government policy meant my super account could be closed, and wanted to have their financial advisors review my super. Admitted they were not authorised by government to call me, and confirmed they were a private company with a Financial Advisor Licence. Unsolicated phishing sales call most like using a bought list to pressure unsuspecting targets into switching super funds for hwich they would recieve a commission. Reported to Scamwatch.

i was waiting to hear from friend they rang i returned the call thinking it was my friend but they said it was company with my friends name. I came home to ring my friend but the call message was saying the person was not available at the moment.

Company allegedly called Information Australia, gathered information from 'National Homeowners Database'. Pushing "Government incentive". Most likely mining and phishing for personal data. No ABN, No website, No identifiable information was provided by the "call centre".

About some Federal Government Financial Incentive for people under 60, own a house and full time working. The woman asked about my annual income, and I refused to tell her. She then said it can be verified by Googling "Federal Government Incentive" to prove that she is legitimate, then close the call. I Google afterwards, and found nothing about what she said. So it is either some telemarketing to gather some personal and financial information, or some sort of scam.
