GE Financial aka Lattitude Financial (Robocall) reported by


At 08:20H on 17 MAY 2017 I recived an automated call from 028070-2244 demanding personel details be confirmed. At the end of the lengthy automated requests, the call directed a call back to 'Lattitude financial' on a 1300 630977. I then started receiving prank calls from 0488862032, 0488862065 and 0488862076 from 17 MAY 2017 soon after the above call. These appeared to be automated, caller hung up when I answered. When I rang each one back, was given an automated response of 'all operators are busy' proceded by disconnection of the call. I am assuming that this tactic is employed by financial companies whom assume an account is in arrears or similar to enable them to prove both that the phone number is valid and indeed belongs to the person to whom they wish to speak with, prior to enforcing legal orders to reclaim their assumed loss. A debt reocvery service (NAme unknown but also trades as 'Holiday with your Horse') at Sussex Inlet uses this type of harassment. These financial lenders (sometimes non bank lenders but may include the big banks, and debt recovery complanies,) appear to employ these dummie tactics to annoy their loyal customers accusing them as non-payers, so although we think that these are prank calls ??? There is some merrit in their origin perhaps, and they will take any measure to get their money back, even if as in my case, there is no funds owing but in fact a $20 late payment fee querry for April instead, that has not yet been address by the company. Hope this helps and hope I have not confused anyone :D
