This number & similar numbers continue to call me they sometimes talk about my electricity not working. Most times the call drops out or they hung up as soon as I answer. I have blocked the number so I am no longer disbursed my this nuisance calls

After putting my details on comparethemarket.com.au, I was contacted to walk through comparison options. They also offer to switch over to my electricity and gas. The operator said that every new customer the energy and gas supplier gets through them, they earn a commission.

Tried after 9. I didnt answer. Called after 12. I answered. Asked if i wanted electricity quote. I said no, they said bye. Tried calling me again after 3. So apparently even though i entered my number- but did NOT follow through to get quotes AKA didnt agree to phone calls - they still got my number.
