Vodafone offer for better handset (Scam call) reported by Harriet
Man tried to call two times from this number yesterday. I answered on the third attempt. He asked if I was happy with my Vodafone handset or if I wanted to upgrade. Knew personal details including surname, Hotmail address, Vodafone plan etc. When I enquired about a particular phone model of choice he said that it wasn't available, etc but later changed and said he could get it for me and also the lower price plan on this phone model. When I said I will need to think about it and call Vodafone next week, he said that he would call me instead. Very unusual. He said he used 07 number because it is through VOIP. Vodafone today said 04 or 03 numbers are used by the company and do not answer this man's call next week.

I Also got a call from this no. and i thought that its a scam call but then they offered me a very good deal and yes it also got processed very soon so its a genuine call.

Vodafone Scam caller (Scam call) reported by Kat
Three times in one day from this number. Answered the third time out of curiosity. Lady with Filipino accent trying to sign me up to Vodafone. Call kept cutting in and out, she blamed her headset. I blame the fact she was calling from overseas. Have now blocked this number.

Vodafone (Scam call) reported by Garb
Lady with Philipino accent said she was calling from Vodafone and asked me for my Vodafone pin to confirm I the account holder. When I refused she tried to sell me a $41 per month tablet contract. When I said "no" she hung up. I contacted Vodafone and they were able to confirm they did not make the call. Beware. This is possibly identity theft or a scam to get you to give yiu credit card details to them.

They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with energy schemes info, just another telemarketing...
