Had missed call from this number,had left a voicemail so I listened and very poor quality message had been left by someone with an Indian accent claiming they were from "Optus" and that I'd recently looked at their mobile plans and to call back for an offer. Called back and surprise surprise "Number Disconnected". Obviously using some number generator. All round just seemed dodgy.

Saying as a long-term customer I am eligible for call rate discounts. I said I'm on contract and get unlimited calls. She was asking how much I spend each month, I said if you're from Optus you will know that. When I called her bluff, she hung up on me.

Once a year I get this call, third year straight now..., basically they wanna send me a new ( low end android smartphone, brand new, free, great, lol.... they want to upgrade my plan to some inferior more expensive deal with little benefit other than a 100$ phone( they Lose a lot on their old 3G $2 day unlimited plans and I think that's what their trying to trick u into exiting existing plan) I end up arguing my point before hanging up .... legit or not tell me to get lost. Or don't bother awnsering

Bloody indians again offered me a cheaper phone plan pretending from Optus. I heard from the beginning that this is a scam but was trying to speak to them just to find out more how they are gonna do it, how long it would take for them to get to the Credit Card details. Eventually, they understand that i am not going to give them anything and they hang up. Go back to india and cheat there... This is your place!

Told me the call is about my optus line. I told him it cant be because i am with vodafone. He said "its the same thing" and then started yelling at me and speaking in a sarcastic tone. I yelled back, put him in his place and then hung up.

Tried to offer me on a 'Discouted Plan" I said Im happy with the plan I'm currently on. He (Indian) started to get aggressive and then hung up. Not happy with Indians customer service. Tried to call back on the number which played message that its disconnected.

Offered a new free smart phone. Would be posted to my address. Wanted to know what my current spend was on Phone. Told him $10 a month as I was retired, didn't need much. He made out he couldn't hear me and ask me to repeat & repeat again then hung up on me. I Guess He is only after big spenders. Dopey PERSON should have had more sense than try & rip off pensioners. I Hope he rings back so I can remind him to Let go and close his Zipper.

Indian caller "Shaun" stated that I have a great phone history and because of this wanted to provide me with a new phone. I stated that this was a new phone and i wasn't interested. I hung up, he rang back and didn't answer. We have received calls on 7 work mobiles today from the same number. On one call he stated that he wanted to give me a new android. I advised that it is against apples marketing regulations to offer an adroid to an apple iphone user. He then asked my name and said that he had fallen in love with me by the sound of my voice. Hung up again

Spoke with a person who's voice was being decrypted by a machine of some kind - I hung up after saying that I was happy with my existing mobile phone/plan. Number has since been blocked but I continue to receive missed call text messages.
