I have had the same thing over the last week. call comes in and then no answer. I see below it is a call centre. and other sites say the same thing including those who have called the number. Block it as spam

Call centre in the Phillipines. Want ton discuss your superannuation insurance and offer you a free financial seminar. How the hell do these people get my name and number? And how do they ring with an OZ number then transfer to overseas call centre

It was a call centre in the Phillipines (or so the female said said). I could hear lots of people talking in the background, similar to a call centre call. The female identified the company as 'My Wealth Services'. A quick internet search did not return any Australian business with that name. When questioned about this the female said the business is from the Phillipines and they work for major superannuation companies doing a health check on the insurances in super accounts. She then added that their website was under construction. I said I would like further information to confirm that it is a legitimate business in Australia, to which the female had no reply. I asked three more times if there was any further way of validating the business is legitimate, like an Australian Business number etc, but she said she couldn't give me that.
I informed the female that I would be providing thus information to the SCAM hotline for investigation.

Seems to be some call center, I can see more similar numbers (all the same range - 07317138xx, just last 2 or 3 digits different) reported here already - with quality of living survey. No idea who is behind it, they left no message, no VM. I really don't answer unknown numbers, tried to dig some info about this number first on internet, but no luck so far. People did someone answer it?

Just answered after delayed connection, obviously from overseas, sounded like a call centre, I just hung up.
