please start leaving messages stating who you are, where you are from and why you called. Might cause less reports of you being a scam. And yes people, TSA is a Telstra outbound sales team. They are just not handling their outbound calls very well obviously. It even comes up on my phone as potential fraud now, so they been flagged by too many people.

Seriously the amount of people saying it's a scam is ALARMING. To confirm it's not a scam ask them for your details. They have your phone number, name, telstra account number and plan details. They are AUTHORISED BY TELSTRA to try and upsell you on Telstra plans. Especially trying to get you to change to the NBN. Be polite. Tell them you are happy with current plan (it's not necessary to change to NBits actually slower) Again if you tell them you aren't interested they will leave you alone.

Introduced himself as Telstra checking in on services. Did ask D.O.B but didn’t give it and explained my scepticism. Was very polite and understood.....he could give me my billing details but told him I’m ok with our Telstra service and that I wasn’t comfortable giving out personal details.

When they called, I asked them for my Plan details and they provided them to me straight away, which is interesting as this is private information, so I heard them out., After the call I then started a chat on Telstra's website to verify if they are Telstra as they say they are. see the reply: Lea from Telstra: at 10:28, Aug 1: The plan you are on will only be confirmed if he/she has an access on to your account Lea from Telstra: at 10:27, Aug 1:As I got your account here and no recent notes regarding the call out Me: when I call it back they say it's tsa telco group contracted by telstra Lea from Telstra: at 10:52, Aug 1:Oh I see. Lea from Telstra: at 10:52, Aug 1:It is the Telemarketing team that we have. And yes they have their Delta number Me at 10:53, Aug 1:ok so not all my information is protected by my account as you stated above Me at 10:53, Aug 1:it is farmed out to 3rd party contractors to call me I then proceeded to tell them how the way they were doing their marketing is not appropriate and it should be better handled. She passed this onto the supervisor and reassured me that my account details are protected.

Sales from "Telstra", didn't believe him. Very unorganised, asked me to wait while he obviously dropped his script in front of him. Hung up immediately. Won't answer again.

Many calls over several months. After first call, I checked internet to see if the number was real. When I found it was not, I did not answer further calls. Months later I eventually did answer one, and I was told it was Telstra. I said that I know it's not, but tell me what you want anyway. He was more interested in proving the call was real than actually telling me why he called. I eventually just hung up to shut him up and never found out why he called.

It actually is authorised by Telstra. It's not a scam. Company is TSA and if you asked them they could tell you your plan details. They are upselling services on behalf of telstra.
