Call came 24 hours after I had contacted AGL for a better electricity deal. Coincidence? I suspect not, but wonderered if call centre staff make a little extra on the side flogging phone numbers of callers.

caller said i had an outstanding power account. (Scam call) reported by 1.132.104.xxx
(as above) .. I replied I have no power account .. anywhere!! I went on to say that the caller (possibly Indian or Pakistani) was ascammer and he should get off my line as I wasexpecting a call. When he tried to explain further I repeated that he was a scammer and that he should 'F-O'. I did not add and in hindsight am glad I did Not say I recognised the incoming number to have thesame 4-number prefix to that which Telstra sells for short-term use. (3708)

If you get a call from this number they are from (save On deals) & they will never stop ringing so if you answer good luck getting them to stop calling as I've asked countless times for them to stop contacting me and I'm still getting 3+ call's a day.
