I had registered an online interest in a couple of Cunard's 'world cruises'. Long story short, I was advised that the itineraries for the 2 x cruises I was interested in would not be released until later next week, and even then only to registered travel agents. Those agents would then need to 'review' the numbers who had already paid their refundable $20.00 'holding deposit' before then being able to tell me what cabins were still available (note here that I am talking about cruises that depart in 2023 ie 2 years time!). When I asked whether it would be possible for them to send me the itinerary after they had done their 'review', I was informed that this would not be possible without having paid the holding deposit. Regardless, what the agent told me was complete and utter BS, as the itineraries for both cruises have already been released on Cunard's website! Needless to say, if they were prepared to waste 12 mins trying to get $20.00 out of me, you could only imagine how much time it would take you to get a refund!!
