They are trying to get your details for insurance companies.. don't tell them anything!!!! It is pointless to tell these companies to take you off their lists. Go to the governments do not call register and add your number there. It takes about a minute then you wont be bothered anymore.

Mentioned insurance line TV commercials. Asked to be removed from the call list. Asked how he got my mobile number. He said that someone might of previously owned this number, which doesn't check out because I've never received one of these calls to my number in 5 years. He said the white pages, which doesn't even have my name listed, and he said it could be from surveys or competitions, which I don't partake in. Don't answer. They are just trying to sell crap.

were conducting a survey about insuranceline or something similar asked how they got my number and gave me some story how they can't/aren't allowed to tell me except it was by 1 of 3 ways which they explained to me. Added my number to the do not call register after this.

No idea who is calling, I tried to find some info on internet for this number, but no luck - same story everywhere, just a dead call, nobody on the other side. People did someone speak with alive person on the other end?

Yeah i answered the call with "hello" and they said "you answer a call with hello and laughed and then hung up".. no idea who it is.

I didn't answer either, when I called them back I had an automated voice state 'Australian contact centre enquiry line.' then hung up on me... sounds suspicious to me!
