Make no mistake, the main goal of these calls is to separate you from your money. They will send you what you inquired about but they will pressure you to sign up for monthly donations which despite what they say are extremely hard to extricate yourself from. Beware, big time

Clever Contacts phoned me to offer a Pet First Aid Kit following me liking an RSPCA post on Facebook. The telemarketer caught me unaware (deeply absorbed with another matter that needed my full attention) which meant I didn't ask the questions I should have to check her authenticity. The free gift came with a squeeze for a monthly donation. After offering a one off payment and giving credit card details I regretted my action - this goes against everything the bank warns customers about not doing and something I don't do. I was staggered that she seemed surprised when I pressed for ID No and receipt. The crude manner of manipulating a stranger's good intention has caused distress and the sleepless night I didn't need. Unfortunately for the RSPCA I won't donating a cent to this organisation - they seriously need to take a look at who is working for their cause and brand. After Telstra disconnected me (12 days ago) I have been in the unfortunate situation of relying on my mobile phone, which is usually switched off so I can screen calls. Anyone who reads this post always double-check who you are talking to and don't be tricked into parting with one cent.

I think it may have been RSPCA (as that's what Tanya has also reported) because I recently gave my mobile number details to request a Pet First Aid kit. Still, I don't think they should be doing this. They should just send the kit! I don't donate to RSPCA as they are NOT a 'no-kill shelter' but the pet first aid kit would be handy.

If you requested a first aid book for your pets they will call you asking for postal address and ask you to donate $30 a month.

People did someone answer this number? I had few missed calls from this one, probably some call centre robocaller testing my number? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. I was trying to dig some info on the internet, don't want to call them back until I know who might be calling but no luck. Some idea who is it?
