I do not like call centers. It is intrusive and they are after information about you. And you do not know what they or Government does with this.

Claimed to be from Telstra Technical dept wanting to fix internet (Call centre) reported by Kate
Said there was an issue with my internet and wanted to help fix it. I strung him along for a bit just for the lolz. I asked if he was in Melbourne to which he said yes. He Gave me a number when I asked for one: 852 31927420 which is an area code for Hong Kong. He insisted he was in Melbourne and to look up that number (which I had already) because it was the Telstra customer service number. He then mentioned that customers in other countries were having the same issue and I said no other countries have Telstra. He was insistent but he gave up eventually. How can I block these numbers? I’m on the donotcallregister but these get through anyway. Sooo bloody annoying.

This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for, just block it...
