As below, called and said they were from Road Traffic Authority and wanted to speak regarding the recent accident I had. I haven't had one so knew something was immediately wrong. Took his number, and dialled back from a different line and he didn't answer the call from RTA so I knew it was scam. Have reported the number

Indian caller claiming from Road Traffic management. He asked me if I were involved in a car accident recently. Because in fact I had one just last April then I said yes. He then asked me was it my fault? And said yes. He asked if I was injured? Then I am getting suspicious and start asking them why I need to answer all these questions while I filled in a police report already and then this guy hand me over to another Indian accent guy and start introducing himself again from Road Traffic Management. And straight away, I ask him what the purpose of this call when I had my police report submitted already and he said thank you then hang up on me.

Crash Investigation for compensation (Scam call) reported by 124.171.96.xxx

A male called, said name was Steven, investigating details of a car crash that i had been involved in. The purpose of the call, to gather details as I had been given compensation. Said he was from Roads and Maritime Service (RMS) in NSW. I contacted RMS today who Idntified it as a scam. This phone number is not related to them.

NSW Traffic authority concerning non existant traffic accident (Scam call) reported by NoName

A person called (Indian accent) stating that he was from the NSW Traffic Authority to assist me with a traffic accident which I had not been involved in. Had a similar call with no caller ID and they got abusive when I called them out. This one used the same scenario.

Lots of static. A person with an accent (possibly Indian) was talking. Didn't ask my name or details. Said he was calling about a car accident I was in last year. I said no. He said you don't remember being in a car accident last year. I said no. He said thank you for your time and hung up.
