A female voice called me while I was driving home. She spoke very fast and acted as if she was from a Government body ( Centrelink/ Agent). She called at a time that most people are either driving or commuting so that you could not hear clearly and identify who she was. She asked questions as if she was a job agent and had a job placement for you..... Then she would try to sell you a course which is related to the CV you placed on Seek in the past...... The she would ask if your were Aus Citizen and told you about the Study-HELP scheme...... When I refused to continue the conversion, she asked me to go to a web site for more info...... and she * Promised* to ring back tomorrow. There are apps that block this kind of calls , pls search thru Google Play. I am very upset because I trusted Seek and Indeed with my personal info and yet someone who are NOT job-agent has my info for telemarketing activities.

They never stop trying to sugn you up to some course, learn now, be stuck with some massive $90,000.00 bill for life. I've repeated explained due to health issues Centrelink have supported my decssion to decline their repeated offers. I've stated everytime that Centrelink has to approve any job I want to apply for first, & Centrelink have asked for them to stop calling but havn't. I've asked for a letter to be sent on my behalf from Centrelink asking for them to stop, I wont hold my breath, in the mean time I just ignor their calls

This is Job Support Australia, they work for companies who sell diplomas e.g careers Australia, they don't care about helping people with education they just want to make money. Pathetic and rude and they must of got my number from my resume as I have been applying for jobs recently on seek. Low humans

They called me on a different but similar number last week. Yes, it is an agency trying to sign people up for courses.. They must have some link to SEEK and access to my resume. I aske the caller where he got my details as I was very particular not to apply for any positions online with seek unless it was a private advertiser and he replied that "I would've agreed somewhere in some application to disclose my personal info"
Not happy at all!! A massive invasion of privacy... He knew every job that I viewed on SEEK

I couldn't find any info for this specific number - strange, I can see more people searching for it on similar pages, did someone answer it and spoke with a real person? I have also seen more similar numbers being searched with last 2 or 3 digits different so I assume this should some call centre. Who is it? Does someone have some more info for this range of numbers - 0280767xxx ?

I got a call from this number. he said Job... somthing, spoke fast couldn't understand.
He asked me 'are you Citizen Sara?' I said 'No, i'm a permanent resident here'
than he goes 'well..sara then i should let you go'
I asked him as he was about to hang up
'well i don't really understand what you said, did i sent you my resume??'
he answered 'No, ...*...*' but i still couldn't understand as my english is not very good enough and his word wasn't so clear.
i didn't border ask him again.

The same as Sara happened to me today. I don't even know from where he got my number. I could barely understand what he was saying. Well... Strange things happen in Australia...
