blocking telemarketers (Call centre) reported by kaz
Man with Indian accent claimed he was with the Australian call blocking department, he said he was calling from dnc appartments in W.A and asked for credit card details and claimed he was working for Telstra, when i refused to give him any details he kept insisting so i asked for all his details and hung up.

Fake Telstra caller (Scam call) reported by Mark
Man with an Indian accent called claiming to be from the Australian Call Blocking Department offering to add me for three years. When I asked who he was he claimed to be from Telstra and then rattled off the address of the building (obviously learned off by heart). I told him I didn't believe he was from Telstra and he kept insisting he was. I've since looked up on the Telstra website that this is a common scam - "Calls offering to place a number on the Do Not Call Register for a fee" - that's what he was doing.

called from 'The Telstra', hung up when i caught her out on it. my best bet is it's an indian scam and the woman talking to me had an indian accent. They can't even say the name of a major telco company properly. scam abilities 1/10
