I answered the call and after saying hello twice an Asian lady told me she was offering me a solar rebate. She asked did i have solar and when I replied yes, she hung up. Either a bad-mannered telemarketer or someone trying to record my voice to use in voice-recognition scams.Very annoying!

Offered special information on tax benefit towards my pension, after I answered a few financial questions. Claimed my tax agent wouldn't know this. Followed "recent tax changes by the govt" - repeat of a call I got last year! I refused to do that and eventually hung up.

When I picked up the phone, there was no response. After several attempts at saying 'hello', the robot at the other end said 'goodbye' and the call dropped out.

This number is from a company called "Retire and Earn". They have previously called me from another number. They claim to be working out if I am "eligible" for the new information about government initiative and they need to know if I am a working home owner. They would not tell me where they got my number from. When I informed them that my number was on the Do-Not-Call register and they were now doing something illegal by calling me, they fumbled around, went quiet and hung up. There is definitely something scam-like going on here. I have blocked this number.
