Scam call supposedly from the ATO asking to call back saying I have been charged with Tax Evasion.

Foreign man difficult to understand said he was Kevin Smith from the ATO and I was being charged with Tax Evasion and did I have access to a criminal Lawyer. I asked for more ID and he said Badge number 960156 and I could call back on 02 8317 3372 to verify authenticity.

Received a pre recorded message stating that i was under investigation from the ATO and to call this number. I called it (knowing that it was some kind of scam), someone answered in what sounded like a call center and was very hard to understand and wouldn't tell me who he was or what the company was called.
