The guy didn't announce himself and when asked, offered up a question in relation to my electricity supplier. I asked him how he got my number. Apparently from a crowd named Australian Data Service.

Received 3 calls from this number. When I answered it was from Insuranceline wanting to know if I had heard of insuranceline and if I wanted income protection, life or funeral insurance. When I answered no they told me it was an obligation free call and if I consented to someone from insuranceline to call back in a few days to give me a quote on insurance. I replied no consent & hung up, then blocked number.

Added it's number as a secondary home number to the first contact in my list. I answered thinking it was a friend but it was another hack. They can access your contact list somehow.

No idea who they are, they call and do not leave a message. when I answer, it is a dead line for more than 5 seconds so they don't get to talk to me. As far as I am concerned, anyone that uses autodialing without responding instantly is a sh*tforbrains and is wasting my time. If you call me me, talk to me, or don't waste my time.
