Travel benefits offer (Telemarketer) reported by


Random Facebook lady added me and chatted me. After few days of continuous chatting, she offered me her travel benefits to Mexico as she is entitled to it. I Only need to pay 20% of the travel cost. When I said yes she forwarded my number to a certain person who eventually called me using the number above. She was persistent in getting my credit card number to secure a one time booking and to avail the benefits of my fb friends. When I told the caller that I dont have enough funds she then suggested to transfer funds from my saving account or use different Card. She was persistent. I told her to get loss and hang up! Lol

Message is from someone purporting to be a publisher (I am a writer), but leaves a different (mobile) number for a return call. Clearly calling from a call centre. Publishers don't do this.

I'm writer/author and received a call claiming to be publishers or something, bad line. Wanted to know print/release date of my book...Told them to send an email bu they didn't have my address and didn't seem to write it down when I gave it.
