This number has called me at least 6 times today. When I answer no one responds and then the line just goes dead. If I let it ring out no voicemail. Don’t think it’s legitimate. If I try calling back, same no answer then dead line. Very fishy!

I received repeated calls from this number when I recently activated a new sim. I also received texts saying that my AMEX card was over balance. I don't even have an AMEX card!! I contacted AMEX through my bank and discussed this account, they agreed that I do not have a card in my name. TOTAL SCAM.

Number calls, because I have been getting quite a few calls from strange numbers and overseas numbers, when I answered I did not immediately speak. The call disconnected within a couple of seconds of answering.

I looked up the below and saw it is for the AMEX call centre. I prefer not to accept calls as it is too easy to be scammed. I have an AMEX account and called them directly to find out if there are any issues with my account and they said everything looks fine and they can't see any reason for me to have been called. Bizarre.

Amex call centre. Calls would hangup on answering. Called Amex and complained. They said some with a similar name to mine was who they were trying to contact. I told them to cease and desist immediately.
