Indian sounding caller said he was from NBN (not Simply Energy). Introduces himself as Mark Wilson. A 'Mark Wilson' previously rang on a 0747664689 number - also with an Indian accent. Two different numbers - two different callers both named 'Mark wilson'.

A woman rang at 7pm saying she was from Simply Energy and there was an issue with our business account and I needed to verify a few details before continuing the call. She asked for full name date of birth and the address of the supply. I found this disconcerting enough but then I was asked for our ABN. This is when I balked and refused any further personal information. The woman continued to say our account was in debit and payment was due immediately. I told her payment had been made over a week ago and she wanted verification which I said I could give if she rang me back at work the next day at an agreed time. She never rang back. Unsure if it was Simply Energy or a scammer. It did seem unusual.

Seems to be some call center, I can see more similar numbers (all the same range, just last 2 or 3 digits different) reported here already. No idea who is behind it, they left no message, no VM. I really don't answer unknown numbers, tried to dig some info about this number first on internet, but no luck so far. People did someone answer it?
